Coach Dino Spencer

Spencer has studied martial arts for 30 years and has been a successful instructor in the Chicago land area for 22 years.  He has taught over 10,000 students in the martial arts and boxing.  He is one of Chicago land’s top professional boxing and martial arts coaches.

• Co-founder of Gold Coast Martial Arts, Ironfist International and POW! Kickboxing in Chicago. Currently Co-owner and head mma instructor at FLO Mixed Martial Arts in Palatine.
• 5th degree Black Sash in Chinese Shaolin kung fu.
• Head Coach of the Team Pro-Am, professional competitive martial arts team and is the co-founder of the IPAC (International Professional American Circuit).
• Presently the head coach of Team Oquendo, Pro Boxer, Fres Oquendo.
• Presently trains UFC fighter, Shonie Carter.
• Presently the head boxing coach for Pride fighter, Mike Russow.
• Presently the head coach & manager of Antwan “Herc” Hayes, FCFS (Full contact fighter series) Heavy weight champion.
• Presently trains UFC fighter, Terry Martin. Spencer resurrected the career of Martin who prior was windless in the UFC.  Since Spencer took over, Martin is undefeated with 4 knockout victories.
• Formally part of Team Pitbull (Andrei Arlovski), which helped prepare Andrei to win the UFC heavyweight championship of the world.
• Coached the 2000 Novice Heavyweight champion of the Chicago Golden Gloves.
• Coached the 2002 Open Heavyweight champion of the Chicago Golden Gloves.
• Coached Achour Esho to the 2003 Illinois State Amateur Championship, as well as an undefeated professional record 3-0.
• Coached professional boxer, Carl Davis to an impressive 8-2 boxing record.
• Experience in personal security for high profile clients such as Michael Jordan, Cypress Hill, Scottie Pippen, Dennis Rodman, David Schwimmer, Robert DeNiro and Mark Walberg.
• One of only five certified Krav Maga instructors in Illinois which is an Israeli military realistic self defense system featured on NBC Nightly News with Tom Brokaw, Fox News in the Morning, ABC News Chicago and Jenny Jones.
